Chai Latte Donuts

These vegan chai latte donuts with maple glaze are baked to perfection and so easy to make. They're a healthy alternative to a traditional donut but equally as delicious!


INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups all-purpose gluten-free flour blend (or regular all-purpose flour)
  • 1/2 cup organic cane sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp allspice
  • 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 & 1/3 cups almond milk
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted and cooled
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Maple glaze: 

  • 1 cup icing sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2-3 tsp almond milk

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and spray a donut pan with cooking spray.
  • Mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients until incorporated.
